Turn the tides into treasure. From safe cargo hauling to high-risk deep sea salvaging.
| Method | Level | GP/Hour |
|---|---|---|
Deep Sea Raids | 85+ | 3.5M |
Kraken Boss | 90+ | 2.8M |
Shipwreck Salvage | 75+ | 2.1M |
Exotic Cargo Runs | 60+ | 1.2M |
Deep Sea Raids are the highest profit activity currently available in the Sailing skill. By venturing into the Wilderness Waters (Level 50+ Wilderness), you can hunt elite NPC ships known as "Ghost Captains". Unlike regular mobs, these captains drop noted resources and high-tier equipment.

This is a PvP Zone. Other players can board your ship, kill you, and steal your cargo.
The Great Kraken is an instanced boss fight, meaning you don't have to worry about PKers. However, the boss itself is deadly. It requires precise ship movement to avoid its "Tentacle Slam" attack which can one-shot smaller vessels.

It drops the Kraken Scale (100% drop rate), which is used to charge the Trident of the Seas (i). This ensures a consistent profit floor of 100k per kill, regardless of RNG.
Salvaging is a non-combat method that involves diving into sunken ships to recover lost cargo. It requires the Diving Bell upgrade.

*Note: While safe from combat, you can drown if you run out of Oxygen. Upgrade your Diving Bell to stay under longer.
